I started Roundtree Designs with a singular mission: to create heirloom quality pieces from solid timber.

As the fifth son of a California craftsman, I grew up in a workshop, and with a deep appreciation for the beauty of my father's work. I came to believe that In a world of disposable design, crafting something to last generations was both a nod to the past, and a middle finger to the present - and that felt like art to me.

Based in Fitzroy, I work alongside my dog Charlie, driven by the philosophy that "buying once and buying well" is the ultimate in sustainability.
